  I could imagine this as being a ship that Bill designed and built himself. Everyone else at the KSP was telling him that he&apos;ll just die if he tries to use it but he launched anyway and they were all &quot;Good, he&apos;s gone. Back to ACTUAL space missions.&quot; Then a couple of days later he comes back and they&apos;re all &quot;Oh god he&apos;s back. He&apos;s going to be insufferable. Quick, lock the doors and pretend there&apos;s no one here.&quot;

  Hey Matt, here&apos;s a trick to get your cargo bay doors to open more widely: Rather than use the &quot;deploy&quot; button to open / close them, always leave them deployed to their maximum angle, and use &quot;deploy direction&quot; to open / close them. That way you&apos;ll switch between -30 degrees deployment to +30 degrees deployment, meaning your effective opening angle doubles.

  Seven months late, I believe the Delta V miscalculation comes from the additional liquid fuel/oxidizer you dragged around from your initial shuttle stage, where the stage sequence thought you would burn it all prior to initiating the ion thruster.

  I believe the Titan IV also air-lit its core stage and only used its solid boosters as well, fitting since the shuttle&apos;s &quot;main engine&quot; seems to be based on the Titan engine
