  Challenge run. Hard mode career mode where an asteroid will hit kerbin in a month. Have to quickly research a telescope to find it and a craft to divert it.

  I did this recently and got one to capture into LKO, so I built up a drilling and refinery station and now I have an LKO refueling depot with unlimited productivity. Very useful.

  Mod idea for someone...when an astroid hits Kerbin, all KSP structures are damage to the max they can be.

  There&apos;s a mod that automatically disables control surfaces in space, you should grab that!<br>Also would be cool to see you do an IVA-only mission using IVA mods like MAS and stuff

  The good part is that we are advanced enough to most likely avoid an asteroid apocalypse. The largest asteroids above a km (those who would destroy the Earth massivelt) are 95% detected by now. We already proved we can change an asteroids orbit with Nasas Dart mission (2022). As most people here will know the solution is to only slightly nudge an asteroid not blow it apart (that makes it worse). The earlier you change some objects trajectory the less energy is required to change it’s destination at the end.
