  Im a ps1 game collector nothings  ticks me off more than when places and people charge CIB prices for disc only games ! And second pet peeve games that are scratched to crap and they are charging full price

  I just started getting into collecting recently as I still have a lot of my old consoles. I&apos;ve been focusing a lot on Xbox. I ordered some games under their b2g1. Both of my free games came in generic cases which I was not thrilled with. Only two games came fully complete with manuals, they were at least both GTA games I got for PS2. One even had the original receipt from whoever bought it when it came out.<br>For the generic boxes, which I really hate, I just quickly printed a cover replacement so they don&apos;t look so ugly as sin in my stack. While it&apos;s not ideal, there is something that I do like that these working discs still have a place. It&apos;s better than a landfill, and there aren&apos;t anymore being made.

It’s the last place I consider buying games from and I only go there if they have something I can’t get anywhere else.<br><br>Thank goodness I got mom and pop game stores where I live with more opening this month. Very lucky and grateful.<br><br>Don’t take those stores for granted.

  All the gamestops I used to go to had all thier used disk in those yellow envelopes behind the counter. The empty cases would be on the shelves. <br><br>Occasionally they would put out a cardboard box with the case-less games for sale; 10-50% off or even buy one get one free.

  A few weeks ago I was at a GS store checking out their retro section and found resident evil 2 on n64 for $55. As I was checking out they pulled the cartridge and I could immediately see that it was a fake. I told them that it was fake and they were glad I let them know. I left with nothing lol.

  I was told to not order pre-owned games on the Gamestop website as you don&apos;t know what you&apos;ll get. So I just go in person for the deals.

  I made an order online of about 24 games a couple of months ago and had to get 16 games replaced due to them being in such bad condition with things like cracked/scratched unplayable discs, there were also multiple games which were for the wrong platform as well. GameStop’s quality control has always been pretty terrible but even I was surprised by how bad my order went, if it wasn’t for the buy 2 get 1 free I wouldn’t have bothered making an order at all.

  Charging 60 for a used NS2 hand with no case and in a huge ass box for shipping?? That&apos;s truly crazy work.

  I like to do the gamble when they have 3 for 2 deals… but if something comes all busted up or loose disc, I just go and return it.<br><br>Which sometimes works out even better cause the free ones still end up free even if you return the game you paid for..

  I did a video recently talking about a price in store not being honored, and half of the games I ordered on sales a few months back with buy 2 get one free being loose/generic cases. They are they worst they have ever been.
