  I rarely comment. But I am an avid follower of your channel. I just wanted to say how much I respect your valuable sharing of your knowledge and wish you every success in life. I am just learning to sail (dinghy at the moment, age 73), with an open heart and mind as to my ‘swan song’ future on the water, always learning, as adventurously possible, just to really live until my last breath. So thank you so much for all that you give. It is priceless. 🙏

  Thank you, been seeing you around for years. Never followed you for whatever reason but now that I have gone through the cancer thing and survived am looking to get off the beach and go cruising again. You really put alot of effort into helping people......thanks again, much appreciated.

  I&apos;m late to the party on this but well done video. The screen share was very helpful in being able to visualize what you&apos;re explaining. This is fantastic information for people new to or even just curious about sailing.

  Great, straight forward talking and bringing up very pertinent points that many don’t think of. <br>You are what anyone buying a boat needs to use the head and take some (not all) of the heart out of the equation!

  fair comment on Pearsons. I own a 424 and exactly like you said solid, safe wont win any races but that&apos;s not why you buy them you want them solid, comfortable, safe and very logical designs...

  One thing I never hear much about and rarely see on any boat in the yard is an Ocean Brake…<br>Racy boats never have an Ocean Brake.

  I like those Tayana 37&apos;s. &nbsp;If I had my druthers I&apos;d take that or a Cape George 36 offshore. &nbsp;I know a fin keel sails better under some conditions but the strength and aesthetic of those classic bluewater boats is appealing. &nbsp;However what I have is an old S2 11.0 A, which I&apos;m preparing to sail offshore. &nbsp;I really like the boat. &nbsp;She&apos;s strong and sails in a moderate fashion which will serve well when sailing solo. &nbsp;Though I can&apos;t be certain at this point I think she&apos;s going to do quite well. &nbsp;I&apos;ve heard good things from some of the other owners who&apos;ve taken the design offshore and I know of at least one that circumnavigated.
