Super neat that the dispatcher reads everything to the field team for safety and they read it back like an Air Traffic Controller. Super professional.

Before every rubber glove job you must inspect and air-test rubber gloves, wipe down the boom, and complete the required safety checks.

The work on the high voltage lines here has begun. I'm seeing some equipment I've never seen before. It's interesting. Thank you for another great video. Please stay safe, and God bless.

When it comes to electricity there is never enough safety in place, had a small incident when I was 18 on a low voltage 240v during my apprenticeship and had a live/neutral in each hand… it got my attention and I was lucky it tripped LoL .. this will date me, we use to have Halon fire suppression systems in power rooms in high-rises I worked in! Love to see professional at work - thank you !!!

"Why do we test our gloves before working?"
"in case we accidentally test our gloves while working."

Covering the triplex was a surprise to me - but of course that neutral is just what the high tension line is looking to "find" a path to.

Is the orange boom (v white) boom a visual indicator for "rubber glove" approval of the boom?

Very Interesting video and it’s Obvious that Safety is “Required” so you can Finish your Shift. 🤔👍

Discovered your channel a week or two ago, subscribed and have been binging your videos since! Excited to see that you're still putting out new videos! Thanks so much for sharing your work and your life with us!

(Must admit I especially enjoyed the ones where you shout out the guys and girls ;) oh, and also the one where you worked with the woman electrician! I do wish I were in good enough physical condition to do something in electrical or some type of engineering as a second career. I'm very much the type of person who wants to get everything set up and identify all the issues ahead of time so that we can do the task right the first time, and that hasn't always gone over so well with some folks I used to work with who preferred to rush into a task and fix things later!
