Impressed! Just a safety note to inform novices. Be careful of the roofing nails.

Not an electrician but I work in IT, love your videos, just interesting seeing your day to day. I dont understand how you stay so organized and efficient on time. Managing filming, voice over, editing the videos, on top of doing your work efficiently is impressive. Admirable.

Palmer, you may want to consider investing in disposable "Tyvek" coveralls for your "adventures" in places such as attics or basements. It protects your skin, your hair, clothing, etc, from all the crap.

When you are adding a ceiling fan to a room that has never had one always use 12/3 or 14/3 wire instead of 12:2 or 14/2.

This way if somewhere down the line the customer wants to call you to separate them. It make your job quick and easy.

In fact when you do this method always wire the light and fan as separate directly at the fan. (So you don’t have open the canopy.) But tie both black and red wires together in the switch box.

There switches that gives you fan speed and dimming features. As a stackable switch. Otherwise you just change the switch box for the adjustments. When necessary.

I am a maintenance technician in industrial areas and man watching somebody do house wiring is very relaxing somehow😅🤘🏼congrats on owning a business at what (seems to be) a young age! Keep going, and expanding!

I found a great way to snake romex through the wall. Take a piece of 1/2” pex feed into a 3/4” drilled hole , then feed the romex through the pex. Super easy , the pex pushes through insulation

    Couple pointers man:

1. Use a dust bowl with your hole saws to catch most of the dust.

2. Always run 3-wire to fans, incase they ever want to switch the fan/light separately in the future.

3. Invest in more drop clothes. Much easier to lay down and saves a lot of time.

4. Buy some Jack chain and a Magpul magnet for fishing. Tape your chain to your sticks/tape and then use your magnet to catch it and pull it through.

5. Always check the roofline and tell the customer ahead of time you may need to make a hole to get through the top plate. If you can avoid it, you’re a hero. If not, they’ve already been told it’s necessary.

6. Use spray foam around your attic boxes, or put more insulation over them. That fan box has zero r-value.

Keep killing it!

For finding the center of the room, I approximate the center one way, do the same distance to the other side, and split the difference. Then I repeat that for the other direction. I've gotten really good at it, so I'm always within where the box will be, but I use pencil just in case.

I always run 14/3 to the fans just in case they want to control the light from a switch I would have run the Romex to the back side of the box so it would have not been on top of the studs or at least made holes for it to go in
