I was there (show #34 for me) and I am from Canton! My dad worked in that paper mill for 43 years. I have seen DMB all over the country since '95. This was a surreal amazing moment. Thanks for posting!

I was born in these hills. That's me, my dad, my son and daughter. We heard the mill whistle blow every day all out lives till it shut down. I used to sneak down to the Pigeon river and swim in the summer just after mom told me not to go there. It breaks my heart to watch the mill being torn down. Thank you Dave!

Song reminds me of the folk tunes I would hear when going to Appalachian State. Super blessed to have seen this live

Thank you I was at the same concert over the weekend. This was my favorite and I’ve been listening to Dave since 95’. This is my type of song. Thank you for posting and look forward to him releasing one day (if else even does)

It's awesome! I'm a Coal Miners Daughter {who can only sing DMB tunes}. It made me think of the old company store song. The mines owned the housing & the stores, the miners got their housing + credit at the store. There's an ol song about it, "I owe my soul to the Company Store!!<br>I LOVE YOUR NEW SONG! God bless all y'all!! C'ya's at the Friday show in Camden!! I'm the 1 with either a walker or the coolest walking stick ever, with lotsa DMB stickers. I love this violin dude!! C'ya's in July!!! LuvYa'S!!
