Gaza-C is one of my earliest HG, because back then I'm a Grunt bias so a friend recommended it because it transformed

Axis Zeon really did had to rely on perhaps the most cost-effective mobile suits to be capable of conducting their war against a cripple Federation and A.E.U.G., luckily Axis was rich in metals for its location in the Astroid Belt. Frankly it almost felt like Axis Zeon learned from their mistakes of the One Year War, until they started to fight each other for the most stupidest of reason and fumble their most assured victory.

The Gaza is a good series for a war design with limited resources

I love the Gaza-D for having guns in its pincers in mobile armor mode. Claw guns are the best.

I know a lot of people who hate the Gaza line as being... deathtraps, or something to that effect. Personally, I find the deconstructed aesthetic quite charming, but mostly I enjoy the worldbuilding conceit of what a people with a fraction of the resources of their major adversaries chose to build for themselves to compete. Particularly as the Zeon-type faction in Gundam tends to have oodles of resources to build whatever crazy contraption they can dream up, so seeing them having to economize was a breath of fresh air.

The Gaza-Ley is a "Mixing Build" custom mobile suit comprised of salvaged AMX-003 Gaza-C and AMX-004 Qubeley parts.

I feel Axis Zeon is quite underrated for what it did acomplish. While I am not a fan of the Gaza line as a pilot I can respect that they took nothing and made it something.
