As a Frankfurt fan I've got little time for Kaiserslautern but there's no denying there title win in the 90's after winning promotion and there fall from grace is some story

It's one of those clubs that I'd much rather see in the Bundesliga than RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Mainz, Wolfsburg, and Freiburg.

It has so much history, and the fans are fantastic. It's a club that deserves to be great again, much like Schalke and Hamburg also deserve to be great again.

UK here, first went to a Kaiserslautern match in 2015, and have made numerous trips over to Germany to see them again. Tends only to be once every 2-3 years due to costs etc, but including trips to away games, I've seen them 7 times in total, the last being that Pokal Final against Leverkusen (still yet to see 1FCK win a single match on any of my trips).

I remember playing with Kaiserlautern on one of the first EA Champions League games late 90´s.

Was looking for a new video this week. Love hearing about lesser know stories and topics. Brilliant stuff.

Andreas Brehme scored a World Cup winning penalty against Argentina and was part of those European storming Kaiserslautern teams

As a kid in the 1970s in Iran, along two friends we decided to support/ follow clubs in Europe as well. While those friends were fighting about who should support Bayern Munich, I liked the name Kaiserslautern. In the 80s everything changed in Iran, and we, instead of playing and watching football, went to war. Only after the invention of internet I learned about their fall. It was so sad! Now, they are much better, and they give hopes for playing in Bundesliga again. Thanks for this nice video.

Thank you, for this video. It bring back a lot of sad and happy moments in my mind. My first game at the betze was in 1981 a littel boy.
At the end one picture of the 2024 final choreo would make it perfect.
👹⚽👹
