  My parents wouldn’t let me lock my door until my pediatrician told them it was causing me anxiety problems by barging in at random times. I used to change clothes in the closet just because you never knew when someone was about to walk in. My mom also read my diary, so I stopped writing in it.<br><br>Kids deserve to have a space of their own, and privacy.

  I feel like the dad of the messy household thought he’d be getting a housemaid. That all the criticism would be directed at his wife for not cleaning and he would get sympathy and that’s why he’s taking it so hard
