I can tell the iced coffee one had to be corporate America, in Canada I highly doubt you even see your boss without a coffee during an interview. At bare minimum a glass of water. It cuts the tension, taking a sip

The point about the cat's trust being broken is SO true. My late dog was a very sensitive gentle giant, a rottie/german shepherd mix, about 120 pounds and soooo shy around men. I'd been working on it with him for something like eight years, and he was getting better. I took him with me to a family gathering and my asshole older brother thought it was great fun to raise his arms, yell, and chase my dog around (he was in his early thirties at the time). He dismissed my upset as being too sensitive, and didn't get why I was so furious. It undid ALL of that work. He never trusted a strange man again until he died at 13.

I’m one of those people that are terrified of answering the front door to anyone. A few years ago, I was about to leave the house but the postman rang on the doorbell. I hid below the door and the postman shouted aggressively through the letter box flap “I KNOW YOURE IN THERE” 😭🤣 I was absolutely horrified and it hasn’t helped my fear of answering the door at all.

As a former manager at Domino's, I can assure everyone that the dough shown was too over-proofed to be used. It's piled up like that because they were about to throw it out. The whole booger video was an idiotic idea, but that dough wouldn't have gone to any customers.

If someone is ON TIME with a coffee and you have an issue with it, that’s just insanely ridiculous!

Unless she was explicitly told it was due to the iced coffee, she doesn't know the reason. She is not dressed professionally in the video; is that what she wore? She says she answered everything perfectly; obviously that's subjective. She says she's more than qualified and has a great resume; but she is not the one judging that since she doesn't know more than her interpretation of the job description. Bringing a drink, possibly wearing an off the shoulder sweater, and going onto social media to boast about being great, when considered collectively might be evidence that they were right to flag a risk for unprofessional conduct.

As someone who drinks both iced coffee and hot coffee, I'd never bring an iced coffee to an interview because of something called perspiration. The cup gets all wet, then you set it down, and it just gets everything wet. Iced coffee is messy, not to mention the need to take a dump. Hot coffee on the other hand, doesn't do that (doesn't make you need to take a dump as quickly — from my experience). If I were hypothetically going to an interview there would be two things that I would do. One, if I wanted an iced coffee, then I'd just time it so that it'd be finished before I get to the place were I'm going to have an interview, or I'd just bring a hot coffee (and most likely finish it before I go in or just leave it in my car).
