Short version: Set amp to edge of breakup. Use a boost pedal to push it over. Control dynamics with guitar volume. Trim the bass as you add more boost or it will take all the space.

Cool video. One piece of constructive criticism… it would be helpful if you let us hear the tone without the RC Booster and then engaged it. I really dig your channel and want to see it grow so I’m just offering a suggestion. Keep the great content coming!

The best breakup sound is power amp distortion. Keep the preamp gain low but crank the sh*t out of the level. Get a Fryette Power Station to attenuate. All you need.

I have the EP booster, but almost never use it….it sounds too bassy. I will have to investigate the tone controls. I absolutely love the boost sides of both JHS Notadumble v1 & v2. It’s my always on magic fairy dust pedal
