  One thing that annoys me is when people block the entry/exit especially when they have a years worth of luggage.

  Definitely got a character of a driver there, which some might find annoying. I do like it when the bus drivers have personality, better than the ones you only hear from when someone fucks up.<br><br>Got lucky the time I took the longreach train, it&apos;d rained the week before (as is rarer out that way) and the people on the return trip before I went out got bused the whole way. That would&apos;ve been hell, but of course it meant that the train itself hadn&apos;t made it all the way back to brisbane in time. So got the rockhampton tilt train, then swapped across to the longreach train, which had to sit at the station for a few hours (because it normally goes through there about midnight, so it couldn&apos;t go early because timetable) so got to go to sleep without the train moving<br><br>I know this adds nothing to the video, but I do have a habit of just adding my own little similar stories to these things 🙃

  Back in the early 1980s, when I was a coach driver and trains were much slower, I had a tour group who needed to get from their Brisbane accommodation to Roma St to catch the train to Bundaberg. They then needed to get picked up at Bundaberg Station and taken on a local tour. I did get a bit of a double take from some of the passengers when they realised that the same coach and driver had driven to Bundy quicker than the train!

  Such a shame you didn&apos;t get to enjoy the full ride on the tilt train. I&apos;ve been on it a few times between the Sunshine Coast and Rockhampton and it&apos;s a brilliant service. I always try for First Class but it does book up pretty quickly so you have to be quick to get it. Economy is good but you it feels a bit cramped up when it&apos;s full of passengers. &nbsp;It only takes 30 mins longer to travel on the train then it does to drive up to Rocky.

  Poor guy! At least they kept you informed. I bet this would be hell if it happened in NSW.<br>I would have NEVER got out of that spa!

  Last December went to Casino first class with my parents. Train broke down at Taree and they put us on a coach and we’re not together spent nearly 5 hours on a coach to Casino I made a complaint and I got $64 back out of the 3 of us

  I watched this video a couple of weeks ago, after I’d booked my Brisbane to Rocky Tilt Train journey. I commented excitedly on your successful Rocky to Brisbane trip video a couple of days ago, telling of my Brissy to Cairns adventure.<br><br>This afternoon I received the dreaded text. Yes, tomorrow’s Rocky Tilt Train commences from Bundy and we’re on coaches. I hope I get your bus driver!
