  The Inlander is the only overnight train service in Australia that does not start or finish in a capital city.

  I get a sore bum and fidgety on a 3 hour XPT trip to Sydney, I hate to imagine 21 hours in a seat like that.  Thank you for doing the hard yards for us.

  They tend to avoid using the rear carriage if they can as it saves cleaning it. <br><br>Pentland is a request stop and the high platform is in place these days for D.D.A. compliance. If you look through the old station window you can see the previous station master paper work for his last shift at Pentland.<br><br>Duchess is my favourite station out there. Nothing like a cold pie and hot beer from the Duchess pub.

  I love this. As a Queenslander I am absolutely at home with the menu!! A servo sanga for lunch and dinner (with a Popper) that&apos;s fancy.. and corn flakes for breakfast and a sneaky hot chokky 😂. Explore Queensland you have sir. Great vid

  I travelled on this train a few times in the early 2000&apos;s to visit friends and relatives, sleeper and full buffet cars, great trip then.

  Oh, that looks kind of interesting! I lived in a mining bedroom community in QLD for several years. Many people in town worked FIFO at Mt. Isa, but I&apos;ve never visited there. The train looks quite barebones, but the 2-1 seating is a win for sure, as is the sparse patronage. I think I&apos;d enjoy that journey.

  I guess the back door of the train would be facing east, away from the setting sun, so you’d get the nice sky hues without the glare.<br><br>Gotta feel for the driver.

  So Australian. The algorithm discovered your channel for me yesterday. Enjoying binging your travels, and vicariously seeing Australia. I need to get out of Sydney and see the country. Mum was a teacher and school holidays would be road trips listening to audiobooks and seeing the country.. keep up the good work
