Dieselized street car to shuttle employees. You gotta love that sort of creative thinking. I've often said that, if you look around long enough, you can find a railroad prototype for just just about anything.

Thanks for showing the old D&NE in Cloquet. I’m one of the last employees that still work there from the old D&NE days. Sappi changed our name in 2002 to the Cloquet Terminal Railroad. <br>I headed up the restoration of the D&NE 28 while it was in our shop from 2011 to 2014 then I followed the project to the museum in Duluth. I had the pleasure of operating it several times afterwards. Our shop is still pretty much the same as it was back in the steam era. <br>Thanks for the flashback of the old D&NE.
