  This is why I really love Jamie. As soon as COVID broke out he jumped into the studio and filmed ‘Keep Cooking and Carry On’ and now with the cost of living with which we’re all struggling he does recipes like this. Honestly a great guy who works hard to help us out and make us feel good when times is hard. Big love to Jamie and all his team x

  Jamie always aimed to support us, "normal people" to eat healthy, simply, and taking ownership of cooking while adjusting to what we can afford. Thanks for all those years and ideas, you're very consistant in your values and show much more support and leadership that institutions, which hopefuly will drive further this agenda in the future.

  I love that Jamie has not left his YouTube family haha and still posts delicious recipes. While many other famous chefs post clips from their 20 years old TV shows.

  Jamie... you have no idea how much you have helped me! &nbsp;Cooking a meatloaf on top of the stove?!! &nbsp;What???? &nbsp;My stove is so old I have to get down on my knees to light it every time!! &nbsp;And at 66 yrs old... nightmare! &nbsp;Can&apos;t wait to try this!!!

  There are some quite unnecessary comments in the newspapers today, saying that Jamie doesn&apos;t have a clue about real poverty and that his £1 a portion calculation assumes that people have an already well-stocked store cupboard. Well, I&apos;ve just gone out and bought the ingredients for the meat loaf, and the only extras I needed were the pork mince and the red chillies. I had everything else, and I&apos;m not particularly well stocked up. Anyway, no one forced Jamie to do this series, and no one&apos;s forcing anybody to watch it or to cook the recipes. It&apos;s not Jamie&apos;s fault that we are in a time of economic hardship, and at least he&apos;s trying to help. There&apos;s no pleasing some people, and they have to look for someone to blame.

  i like this recipe, i remember my Mother did some similar meatloaf, and with mashed potatoes was always so delicious ! Fantastic Jamie cooking with open mind for this difficult time🙏👍
