<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTY8Lgcinks&t=1926">32:06</a> I didn’t get the genius of this scene the first time I watched this movie. And the turmoil with his men when they showed up. He wanted to just have a small moment of civility. And he knew Norman was the only one in his crew not tainted by war yet, that he could have the moment with. Which his men, understandably took offense to.

Hey guys, just to let you know if no one has already... the tiger tank used in the film is the last real operational tiger in the world. It was on loan for three days for the film from a museum, i forget which one. Still working and fearsome after all these years.

I really like that you took time to discuss the perspective of the crew in the dinner scene, it actually makes a lot of sense.<br>Their behavior is not okay but its understandable why they are upset. I think a lot of people watching this movie just hates them and think they're assholes for no reason.

My grandfather was a Canadian soldier who volunteered to serve in WWII. He was my hero and the best man I've ever known. He died when I was 12.
