DARK TIDE — Ambient Music from a Lost Offshore Outpost

Something happened to the rig. It has been drifting for days now, listing heavily as the current carries it farther from its last known position. Every attempt to stabilize or recover the structure has failed. The upper sections appear abandoned. The lower foundations extend deep beneath the surface, but their condition is unknown. No one knows if anyone is still alive down there. Communication with the submerged levels was lost shortly after the incident. Since then, only fragments have made it through — bursts of static, corrupted telemetry and occasional signals that have yet to be identified. The control room is still operational. Your job is to keep it that way. Monitor the remaining systems. Watch the camera feeds. Track the rig as it drifts. Keep listening to the radio frequencies. And if something comes through from below, don't miss it. Welcome to DARK TIDE

I really enjoy the dynamicism on this one. The floating rigs with the waves, the changing monitors, but what impressed me the most was the spotlight reflecting the rain as it passes by the control room window. Really well done!

I love the idea of all of these videos having lore and being able to piece together the ambient outpost universe

The leaning ocean rigs, spooky control panel, spotlight, radio chatter, waves, music, and dark sky combine for the perfect opening of an eldritch movie. Great work!

I just adore your ambiences (which always feel so cinematic). The North Sea must surely have been the inspiration for this one! 🌊🌊😊👍

 A few exciting ideas:
Tesco car park at 2:00am — one trolley rolling by itself in the wind, a flickering lamp post, distant reversing beeps.

Inside a damp garden shed — broken lawnmower, bag of compost, one spider, rain on a corrugated roof, unused fishing rods.

Airport smoking area beside Gate 43 — grey sky, cigarette bin, muffled Ryanair announcements, someone coughing in the distance.

Your nan’s spare room — floral curtains, ticking clock, radiator noises, one mysterious wardrobe that looks musty.

Empty changing room in a small-town leisure centre — wet floor, distant hand dryer, locker door clanging every so often, echo of kids screaming in the pool.

Queue for the post office — shuffling feet, ticket machine beeping, one person filling out a form incorrectly.

Inside a parked car while someone is in Lidl — indicator clicking from another car, rain on windscreen, receipt on passenger seat.

Love the channel!
