  That is precisely what makes this music so grandiose, painful, and haunting to me: it speaks of longing for a place you have never been to—and never will be. Richard Wagner&apos;s Tannhäuser is an outsider who never truly belongs anywhere and fails in his longing for redemption—much like Roy Batty, who lives in a world that is never truly open to him.<br><br>That is where the real tragedy lies for me: a non-human leaves behind memories that disappear from the human world upon his death. But isn&apos;t that ultimately true for every human being? We leave behind traces and memories, yet this distinct inner world of thoughts, feelings, desires, and experiences goes lost with us in the infinity of space and time.<br><br>That is exactly what I lose myself in during these four hours: in the music and in a fictional existence that feels almost real for a little while. In a world between memory and imagination, between alienation and this inexplicable nostalgia for something I have never known. Thank you for that!

  Why do you think TANNHÄUSER GATE has stayed in people&apos;s imaginations for so long?<br><br>What fascinated me most about this place is how something we know almost nothing about could inspire so many thoughts, questions, and interpretations. This project is just my own audio-visual take on that mystery.
