I love how you could have gone with "Czech This Out" but went for the Simpsons reference.

I don't think Jon captured the... Resignation in the Major's line about picking up supplies. Less "this isn't a good idea," and more "all of that was a bad idea."

Like going out to pick up groceries and accidentally stumbling into a bank robbery.

THQ: "Here is the story for Last Train Home: Cut off from their homeland, the Legionnaires attempt to travel east across Siberia along the Trans-Siberian Railway in order to reach Vladivostok and return to Europe. Throughout the journey, the group must navigate hostile forces, political instability, harsh weather conditions, and internal challenges such as dwindling supplies, fatigue, and morale. The narrative blends historical events with fictionalized characters and scenarios, emphasizing leadership decisions, survival, and the human cost of war."

Jon: "You had me at Train"

Learned about the history that inspired this only a few months ago. How awesome to see a game linked to it.

Gives me memories of my campaign mod in Age of Empires 2 showing what happened in Cortez's campaign before the official DLC came out.

Man the beginning of this reminds me so much of the beginning of human campaign in Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos, when you're just exploring Lordaeron and tracking down the Cult of the Damned and Kelly is still a human necromancer.

I played this a few months ago, it was an amazing experience and I've tried and failed to find something similar since. It's a lovely surprise to see Jon playing it

The full real world events of this Czech exodus out of Russia are nuts. Definitely a good read if any of you are into history.

This game is basically pre-apocalypse Metro Exodus from an RTS perspective and that's absolutely awesome.
