  Ever since metal fusion, beyblade has understood what makes it fun, and had capitalized heavily on them: <br><br>1) it&apos;s a simple top game<br>2) the customization is actually tied to the physical effects and thus, affects the game<br><br>That gen is a huge shot in the foot for Bakugan

  This gen of Bakugan doesn’t really do it for me in terms of the game, but making funny looking bakugan combos out of different tops and bottoms definitely brings me joy

  I think this video is a perfect example of something I&apos;ve personally learnt from my own market research: Don&apos;t. Be. A. Copycat. No matter how much better or as good you think your version of a preexisting product is, it&apos;s never going to be enough to win over people who have already invested in the original product. As much as big businesses don&apos;t want to take the risk, historically, it&apos;s most often been best for a company to make something different that stands out, even if it&apos;s a similar product. For example: Magic the Gathering, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! are all TCGs, but they have drastically different aesthetics and gameplay. Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! didn&apos;t need to copy Magic 1:1 because they were good in their own right.
