Feels like a movie set, I'm surprised some film company didn't buy it.

What if the whole part of this was to make it look “normal” from above but the REAL facilities are all underground?!?

It should be illegal for houses to sit empty while people go homeless

This would be great for a mental health facility

No birds anywhere. One would expect to see birds living inside the houses where doors are open. It’s all strange.. and somewhat sad.

It looks like they built a “model home” shopping experience with the different types of homes they can build…

Some people are so disrespectful. Tearing up places that are abandoned is uncalled for and sad.

About 6 months ago they put everything outside the gates for free. Tables, chairs beds, bookshelves artwork. You name it. It lasted about 2 weeks

It was formally owned by Design Tech Homes "It closed during the pandemic. Don't buy into the "theme park" hype. It was a street of model homes, with that large building at the front holding the homebuilder, a furniture store, a restaurant, and a few other home-related businesses (title company, remodeling, etc.) They closed around 2022, which was 10 years after it opened. The homes were all aging and no longer reflected the builder's current style. I believe they also had trouble filling out empty spots in the main building.

I'm not sure what they're doing with it now, but if it's a group home, it would make sense that you wouldn't see cars, as all the houses are on a street behind the main building."

Parents use to take us here to get designs for a new home. Years ago, it would be hundreds of people there. They also sold food and had a bar. Most of the homes had safe rooms. This was simply a company showcasing their model homes.
