I feel like the road and cliff metaphor can be applied to so many places! I know my husband and I reach the cliff with each other after a hard week with our toddler. Makes me wonder the ways in which a husband and wife can "stomp it out" ahead of time, before reaching the cliff.

At the end of the day Dr Becky takes all the decades long bad societal habits of parenting and turns them around as teachable moments. As generations of parents who grew up in a world of childhood compliance she provides a round table forum for kids and parents to discuss their needs and come to a solution. We’ve been conditioned to react, myself included, vs problem solving. Thanks Dr. Becky for the tutoring lessons! We can all gain from learning new and better ways to understand each other :)

I love the solution to working to prevent hitting: it applies to my little one's name-calling when he feels things are unfair. This is a rewatch, strive to remember episode. So positive. So many pearls of wisdom in it. Thank you!!

So applicable to the stage we’re in right now with my 3 year old. We’re planning a big move in a few months and I noticed she’s been more clingy and whining so I guess she knows something is up. This is so helpful and encouraging that I can talk to her about it and not be afraid of how she’ll react🙏🏽
