I'll add another factor that is incredibly important: Getting enough sleep and avoiding stress. The first few hours of the night is when we enter deep sleep, and that is like turbo-charging the body's recovery systems. So, get an early night each night and don't stay up doom-scrolling!

Only thing I'll add is that if you already have pain that you're dealing with, you need to accept this training will be uncomfortable if your performing it right. My experience with the elbow especially at first was a 7-8 during which actually felt better immediately after, then would get back up to a 4-5 in everyday life. It gradually improved and I was living with a 2-3 daily and a 4-5 during the static holds. It took a good 6 months to really find relief and it's a year later with zero elbow pain. I still do static & slow 3x a week to build strength and mobility as I've been really, really happy with the increase in wrist and elbow flexibility as well as grip strength

Would love to see a course on recovery from injury / tendon, ligament or joint strength and progressions to athletics. Basically this video but more in depth!

I have had some nagging pain with my left bicep tendon for months. I've started doing the exercise you recommend here and it's damn near miraculous how quickly I noticed a difference. I've literally only done the exercise on about 3 different occasions so far and I have already been able to tell a huge improvement.

According to Dr. Keith Barr, you'd want to hold these for 30 seconds and you can do them a minimum of 6 hours apart, so twice a day. 3x/week would be maintenance after remodeling them.

I rock climb twice a week. I stopped Hangboarding (on rest days) for bit more than a week one time, and I ended tearing smt in my ring finger linkage on a climbing day. I was still able to climb I just had bad soreness in specific finger positions. Resting for a week was enough to start going again. I was very fortunate. I underestimated the importance this stimulation

I wish people focused on tendon development more than muscle. That's the only way to really progress. If you get injured, it's game over. Excellent video.

This is the type of video I was looking for after you explained how tendons strengthen. You're the best. Thank you for also putting exercises that don't require a machine

Achilles and patellar tendons, and plantar fascia movements can be combined into a heavy loaded uphill rucking with exaggerated stride which also adds a cardio component for anyone who has a busy schedule.
