"Here Comes The Sun" is on the Beatles 1969 album "Abbey Road". It was written by George Harrison. Such a happy optimistic feeling song. George also wrote the song "Something" on the same Abbey Road album.

"Here Comes the Sun" is a song about feeling happy and relieved after going through a tough time. It describes the end of winter (symbolizing difficulties) and the arrival of spring (symbolizing hope and happiness). The lyrics convey a sense of joy and renewal as the sun comes out again, bringing new hope.

If there's one thing the Beatles could do, it was harmonize. They did it so effortlessly and subtley.

Tread lightly, Emma. With the Beatles you are stepping on holy ground.

George was supposed to be in a business meeting, but instead he went over to Eric Clapton's place, where he pulled out one of Eric's guitars and sat in a garden place and wrote Here Comes The Sun. Eric was blown away at the effortlessness of George's creativity.

No matter what's going on, "Here Comes the Sun" always makes me smile. George Harrison was brilliant. He formed a supergroup in 1988 called The Traveling Wilburys made up of himself, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison and Jeff Lynne, and they're definitely worth checking out... especially their debut single, "Handle With Care."

George Harrison wrote this song as a way to skip a dreaded, boring business meeting at Apple Corps, skipping out to Eric Clapton's house and finding relief in a beautiful spring morning, capturing that feeling of escape and renewal in the iconic song, a contrast to the band's growing internal strife.
