This was a masterpiece from George who was considered to be the third singer/writer in the Beatles. That's another reason why the Beatles are the greatest band ever.

Ozzy Osbourne said (paraphrasing) that discovering the Beatles was like going to bed in a black and white world and waking up in beautiful technicolor. He was so right.

George’s songs have stood the test of time. After all these years he’s become my favorite Beatle for all the right reasons.

Another of George's masterpieces. He wrote it while visiting Eric Clapton, walking through Clapton's garden with his guitar.

John Lennon wrote "Head Songs", Paul wrote songs from the Heart and little Georgie Harrison wrote songs for the soul like this one.

"Here Comes The Sun" is on the Beatles 1969 album "Abbey Road". It was written by George Harrison. Such a happy optimistic feeling song. George also wrote the song "Something" on the same Abbey Road album.

This along with "Something", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", and so many more... George contributed so many great songs to their catalogue

True story. Back in the 70s we were driving to a baseball game on a rainy, overcast day. None of us really expected the game to be played. We stopped at a convenience store on the edge of town. When we got back to the car, I popped the Abbey Road 8-track into the player and "Here Comes the Sun" started playing. The clouds immediately parted, the sun came out, the rest of the day was beautiful and we played the baseball game. This song is magic.

You can't define the Beatles. They are their own genre.
