After living with this system for a full year, the big question is pretty simple:

Would we buy it again?

That’s what this video is really about.

If you’re running an EG4 6000XP, building an off-grid solar setup, or researching a full system with batteries, solar, generator backup, and a Chargeverter, drop your questions below.

And if you’ve ever dealt with a system blackout, SOC drift, or battery calibration issues, we’d really like to hear what happened in your setup.

💰Affiliate Discount Codes🤑
🌞SIGNATURE SOLAR
https://signaturesolar.com/?ref=jktpzuyn

We are blessed to have permission to stay on the land where we live. Most people would classify us as homeless. If you knew our relationship with our community that we are not the norm when it comes to living without traditional walls. We do however know that we have experienced something that you two have that not many people experience. Since installing our Bluetti AC200Max (5kw) with add-on battery and 1500wts of PV input. I do very little maintenance. Out of all of our purchases in this day and age of enshitification, you get this unbelievable feeling of joy because something actually freaking works the way you dreamed it would. You said it in your video to a certain degree but all we do is manage it by watching the weather reports and using our system accordingly. We run a 55" OLED TV, BougeRV 53qt fridge, Wi-Fi, Microwave all of our tablets and phone's, lighting and a Legion Pro 5i laptop. Oh (4) WiFi cams with tracking but they have their own solar. We still have about 30% left every morning and can be fully charged by 1:30pm. It took a year of research and 2 starter systems before we upgraded, but we still look at each other and say"It works, it just works." Like magic. It especially stood out after hurricane Milton and all of our church and members were without power except for us professional camper's! We do have all the other necessities of life and have gotten used to the Florida summers with fans. All but one being rechargeable. We look forward to getting some land like you guys someday and feeling truly free. Government willing 😢. Thanks for the video and God bless!

Nice vid. Consider going lead acid mode full time. Eliminates a lot of potential problems.

Thanks for showing your system and challenges.. I have lived through much of the same even though my system is larger.. I use older Outback Radian inverters and Flex Max 80 solar charge controllers that let me keep the DC below 150vdc since I just don't like the 400-600v or higher stuff.. It is better to have the higher voltage when the panels are more than 100 feet away from the electronics to reduce the loss and size of the wires..

Sounds like a system problem they needed to fix with a hardware update....
The system should have been top balancing from day one
You might have hurt those battery banks by depleting them too low.
