  It is 2026, I&apos;m in my 70s, and what&apos;s hilarious is I now find myself watching Leave it to Beaver and actually enjoying it.<br>Something my younger self would never have considered. Funny how life works out.

  I was Barbara Billingsley&apos;s mailman...early 80s,,,She lived on PCH, in Malibu, her house was right next to the Pier...One day I rang her doorbell with a package,,,she came to the door wrapped in a towel, said I got her out of the shower......I said in my best &apos;Eddie Haskell&quot; voice,, &quot;You look very nice today, Mrs. Cleaver&quot;......luckily, she laughed....

  Im 53...and I STILL watch the original Leave It to Beaver episodes every morning on Peacock. Just a really calming way to start each day ❤

  Great job on this! One thing not listed was Hugh Beaumont&apos;s personal tragedy after the 2nd or 3rd season. His wife, son, and mother in law were in a car accident on their way to see him. His mother in law was killed, and his wife and son were severely injured. He almost quit the show. It really traumatized him, but he was a very good actor and was able to mask his grief.

  I always liked LITB, because the family liked each other, genuinely cared for each other. <br><br>The Cleavers gave hope for normalcy to a kid trying to survive in a scary, chaotic household.
