The biggest problem is the AI part of the video.
Textile gear can still pass through a lot more heat to arms for example causing ugly and painful lifetime scars. I have seen it.

On sit straight up bikes the riders ususlly get sore backs because a bump's energy goes up and into the riders back. A slight lean forward is better.

I have been involved in aviation for over 40 years so my hearing isn't the greatest, but I still find myself sitting at intersections or even on the highway, trying to figure out where the ambulance, fire truck or police car is coming from. At highway speeds, you may not hear loud pipes until you are much closer but that isn't where the majority of accidents happen. The guy trying to change lanes near a light, the guy not paying attention in traffic, that is where loud pipes work. Just because Rickey Racer trail brakes or uses his front brake exclusively doesn't necessarily mean road riders should use those techniques. Engine braking is a good example, on the track, which is a very controlled environment and everyone there has extensive experience, but on the street, that kid that just went and bought a liter sport bike or a 800 pound cruiser has no idea you are engine braking and no brake light lets him plow right into the wannabe rickey racer. As far as starting with a smaller bike, less cc displacement doesn't necessarily mean smaller motorcycle. I am 6ft, 230 pounds and have ridden several smaller 250-300cc sport bikes, they are not cramped, they are very close in size to their 600 or 700 cc brothers, but performance is limited. Would you give a 16 year old kid with no driving experience a ZR1? I am on board with the suggestion for training, 92% of crashes involve riders who were self taught, 36% of fatalities are either unlicensed or improperly trained. About 35% of fatalities are related to driving too fast for conditions and about 40% are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Take a defensive driving course and a motorcycle safety course.

I used to buy into the studies about loud pipes not doing much for safety, but living in CA and lane splitting and filtering regularly (especially in rush-hour interstate traffic), I can verify that loud pipes do get drivers' attention. I used to have quite stock pipes on my bike, and cars hardly ever noticed me coming, but once I put on aftermarket louder pipes, cars constantly notice me coming and more of them even move over and give me extra room, which rarely ever happened with the stock exhaust. The problem with the studies is that it's almost impossible to accurately and verifiably quantify how many accidents did not happen due to a driver hearing and being alerted to the general presence of a rider, so you really have to take that with a grain of salt.

We used to have to downshift through every gear. It’s a sequential transmission after all. On some bikes it’s the only way to find neutral or first gear.

I ride a 2018 Triumph Speedmaster, which is a notoriously quiet bike. I don't depend on cages to hear me -- I watch the drivers' faces to see where their attention is and prepare for them to do the unexpected. This is my defense.

Many young riders have died on 2 stroke 125s and 50s, they get used to leaving everyone standing at the lights and get careless about checking the road in both directions and checking their blind spot first
