  For the &quot;You forgot to unfreeze me&quot; part is more of a metaphor of Rien being frozen by the Index as his every action were dictated by what the prescript told him to.<br><br>So he was hoping for Ryoshu to unfreeze him, or free him from the Index. But it doesn&apos;t matter as it will never happen to begin with, as the god of the Index is omniscient and know all that will and can happen in the future. Every Prescript benefits the Index one way or another (Idk how eating a can of worms can benefit the Index though).<br> <br>You can actually see what kind of a member of the Index he is from his skill sin affinity.<br>—Gluttony represent his indulgence in the prescript (Even though he hates doing it after a point in his life, he still indulge in it nonetheless)<br>—Pride represent his pride in doing the prescript which led him to becoming The Proxy Oracle (Probably a superior Index Proxy)<br>—Gloom represent his sorrow after losing his first family due to fighting against the prescript of letting his family die way too late (Which becomes made him despise the prescript, which is why he half asses it after, just look at his hair, he doesn&apos;t even dye all of it black)<br><br>Even though he LARPs as the man who LARPs his dead wife, he actually kinda dislike doing it, as he doesn&apos;t even finish the poem Lollang said because it&apos;s too tiresome larping as someone he isn&apos;t for so long.<br><br>His Furiouso-Replica is a half assed Furioso until he decides to ignore the prescript given during our figh against him, which become Furioso [Crescendo] and eventually Furioso [Lacrimosa-Cresendo] which become the moment where he actually put effort in replicating Lollang move.<br><br>Also &nbsp;a neat fun fact, his beeper are connected to his heart, it will beep faster and more often the longer he ignores a prescript because his heart is beating faster as he ignores it. Which is why he turned it off when he took of his mask

  Hermes did not tell Rien to use the Fpoon to end himself at the end, iirc he got told to recite &quot;Prayer for Loving Sorrow&quot; the one that Roland also quotes. But Rien was so fed up with it that he decided to just accept his fate, and in the moments where he went to unsheathe a weapon from the vial, it turned into the Fpoon instead of a viable weapon to kill himself with

  -fun fact : <br><br>Rien means &quot;nothing&quot; in french which is a great metaphor on how he is litteraly nothing cause during all his life he was forced to be semeone else,forced to change his name,make a family and watch them die infront of his eyes,thats why hes one of my favorite antagonist ,praise Rien.

  As someone who played through LOR, the instant I saw that Rien was a member of the index, I became immediately questioning if him. Not because his personality, but of his belief. Could he be a sympathetic character? Or is he simply robotic? With these questions in mind, that’s how I approached every encounter with him.<br><br>Every flashback and encounter which included only him and Ryoshu, I couldn’t help but see him as more and more overall sympathetic, but detached. His first flashback shows this, immediately consoling her after she had to deal with Valencina, despite the fact he had hundreds of holes through his arm. And while it could be dismissed as a prescript, he never did anything that confirmed whether it was one or the other. Both options were always present.<br><br>Even with the Saru Tortoise spiral scene, where all the nursefathers were present, the skepticism never left, because there were always 2 possible explanations. Why did it hurt when Ryoshu shouted at him not to go at the end of part 2 (she said the same thing his previous daughter said when she died, you can see that in the flavour text on the phase 2 of his fight)? Why warn Ryoshu of what Saru could represent before she takes him in? Did Shoimi really need to say the specific name of the tortoise spiral for him to give it to her, or was that the smallest sign of a defence mechanism? Why does he never finish the picture books he reads to Ryoshu, despite his distaste on misinterpreting the authors intent?<br><br>Rien’s entire character, for someone who’s supposed to be an imitation, is layered entirely with nuance. It’s why he’s one of my favourites.

  Honestly my favourite part about the Rien fight is when he starts shedding Hermes’ instructions and just wants to get his daughter back without any pretense.

  Not to be rude its not that the child was inpatient,the t corp safe works perfectly only for ryoshu when she was a kid she would hide there all the time and it would let time go quicker on the outside then on the inside because she was made perfectly for her relic but because her daughter was not a perfect copy of her,her time was changed into the time instability and she could feel the pain of being a child,teen,adult and an old person all at the same time and when she thought of ryoshu only that pain came to mind which is why she was mad at her <br><br>(Also this video is the GOAT)

  A little on the Udjats since people generally mix up somethings: They&apos;re a Grade 1 office rather than each individual officer being Grade 1, the first squad that we see in the first part of the Canto is a team more similar to those retrieving monoliths than the Vanguard, with said Vanguard team under Jamila being the combat oriented force. Depending on who you ask, their downfall would happen regardless- Rien outright says he didn&apos;t need to rely on tricks like that, leading to him saying they should have taken better care of their weapons.<br><br>Within the mirror world where Udjat Outis&apos; uptie takes place, Rien noticeably is described to have a nasty wound with proxies chasing after him, the very same that happened after canto 9, and Ryoshu cutting his torso. The Udjat in the mirror world and canto eliminate proselytes, and Outis&apos; team eventually give up on chasing Rien due to the amount of damage they withstood. They&apos;re by no means frauds, but this is the only solo Star of the City threat we&apos;re talking about here. (For those speaking of the &apos;party crashing&apos; text, it wouldn&apos;t change the fact said Rien would be at his deathbed prior with said wound. Enough to require healing, Outis believed)
