  Took me almost 5 years of rewatching the scene where McGonagal sends the Slytherin students to the dungeons, to realized she did that so they wouldn't have to fight against their parents, or watch their parents die in front of them. She is a queen.

  Fun Fact: Longest Quidditch game in Harry Potter lasted 3 months, they kept having to bring on substitutes so the players could get some sleep. And in the Goblet of Fire, Bulgaria caught the snitch and Ireland still won because they were 160 points ahead.

  Everyone goin' off about the Elder Wand... In the book, he never broke it. He used it to repair his own broken wand, and replaced it into Dumbledore's grave, thinking that he'd never be disarmed for the rest of his life, and even if he was, no one would know about the Elder Wand's allegiances, breaking the cycle, and effectively ending the Deathly Hallows, relegating it to no more than a story.

Long story short, he had a muggle dad who was abusive (probably why he hates muggles). His father&apos;s last name is Snape and his mother&apos;s last name is Prince. Since Snape was a half-blood, he called himself &quot;The Half-blood Prince.&quot;

  Fun fact to the non book readers: it was Umbridge who sent the Dementors after Harry. It was a way to silence him from speaking out against the ministries denial of Voldemorts return.

  Sadly you guys are wrong about Snape. He didn&apos;t join the Death Eaters as a double agent. He joined the Death Eaters towards his later years in Hogwarts. Him being a Death Eater is the only reason why he was privy to the information of the prophecy to be able to tell it to Dumbledore. It was that moment where he flipped and became a double agent.

  I&apos;m always annoyed how they took away Rons role in the group. In the book he&apos;s the only one who grew up in the magic world, so he takes the role of a guide, especially in social topics. When Hermione is insulted as a mudblood in the second book she has no clue what that means, it&apos;s Ron who explains what it means. Many of rons moments have been given to Hermione. When trapped in the devil&apos;s snare in the first book it&apos;s not Ron who&apos;s panicking but Hermione. Ron tells to get it together and use her wand.
