  Neville didn’t like the spider being tortured because thats what happened to his parents. They were made insane. And are in an insane asylum. He lives with his grandmother.

  The most annoying part of Prisoner of Azkaban for me is that the movies never directly tell you who the Marauders are. They kind of give it to you piecemeal if you&apos;re paying attention and remember the names, but otherwise you&apos;d never know. They&apos;re Harry&apos;s dad and his friends. Moony was Lupin, Wormtail was Pettigrew, Padfoot was Sirius, and Prongs was James (whose animagus form of a stag was completely left out as well). The names are derived from their transformations, as werewolves are affected by the full moon, rats have little wormy-like tails, dogs have pads on their feet, and stags/bucks have prong-like antlers.<br><br>I also can&apos;t help but wonder what Snape thinks as the map&apos;s insulting him in PoA, considering he KNEW their nicknames (we hear them in his memories, meaning HE heard them), and they were his bullies. So having the map insult him was like having his bullies insulting him from beyond the grave (in at least 1 case, and believed grave in another). This is also why he pointedly suggests to Lupin that Harry got the map from the manufacturers in the book, as he KNOWS he&apos;s talking to Moony, and is suggesting he gave it to Harry.

  Catching the golden snitch isn’t an instant win. Sadly it was poorly explained in the movies. Catching the snitch only ends the game and you win 150 points for your team but let’s say the team has still more points, you lose. That’s why the seeker has to wait with catching it until his team has enough points to win the match after that. If no one catches the snitch, the match continues no matter how long it takes. The longest recorded Quidditch match lasted for three months, requiring players to be substituted so they could rest, eat, and sleep. 😊

  While the movie leaves the impression that the dementors attacked Harry and Dudley on the orders of Voldemort, the book reveals that it was actually Umbridge that set them on Harry in an attempt to discredit him.

  The reason why Harry is hesitant to tell stuff to Dumbledore, is because he has innate distrust in adults, due to growing up with the Dursleys.
