And, THIS time, John zeros in on one of the Giants of the Iron Game... The Uncrowned Mr. OLYMPIA, MIKE MENTZER! &nbsp;Mike was a double Phenomena! He was a OUTSTANDING Bodybuilder! He was the Only Bodybuilder to ever achieve a perfect score at the Mr. Universe! &nbsp;Additionally, Mike Mentzer was a genuine Intellectual. He was college educated, and specialized in the study of the Human Body on every level. Anatomy, Biomechanics, etc. The other huge subject Mike excelled in was, Philosophy...all kinds and types of Philosophy. He specialized in Logic, and I believed he was an Objectivist, and followed the modern Philosopher, Ayan Rand. I am delighted that John Little has come out with this in depth volume on Mike, and I am positive that this book will become a huge success, and indeed a Legend in the Library of Bodybuilding, and the Iron Game in general!

  I&apos;ve just finished the audio book. It&apos;s superb, I&apos;ve definitely come away with a greater appreciation of Mike. As for Arnold, &nbsp;the Kal Szkalak story blew me away. The guy was like a shark in a swimming pool, no one was safe.

  Really good interview<br>I trained through what people now call the golden years of the 1980s<br>Not often you hear honest balanced remarks around body building and weight training<br>For me Arnold became the gate keeper and shut the door behind him<br>I used to go out and buy all the latest joe Weider magazines and take training tips from the pros<br>What a mistake that was<br>None of them were honest and it ruined both my and many others chances of ever getting a good physique mostly due to over training<br>I hardly even remember Mike being in any of those magazines because he had been cut out by joe<br>Its sad that people like Arnold and all those other steroid filled pros and joe ruined it as a sport<br>But mike now is becoming more popular due to the sport becoming main stream which is what Mike predicted and especially for natural weight lifters/body builders<br>New generations have the information now that we didn&apos;t thanks to mike Mentzer<br>Wahts sad id the same dishonest bunch are still pushing their bullshit over training routines<br><br>Thank you

  I wasn’t too sure about this book, being that it’s 500 pages. Man, was I wrong. I couldn’t put it down. The exposure of the “fitness industry” and the life of Mentzer. Kudos, John, this is a must read
