  Use anki and make your c a rds as easy as possible. Use pictures and sentence audio. Get familiar with the words. Then, the key is to watch a ton of content you can understand without subtitles and you will cement in those words..that is where the learning comes from.

  I agree with you Naoko-san. <br>For me most important things for learning languages are discipline and &nbsp;a learning program. <br>Discipline to learn every single day. <br>Learning program to know what to study in a systematic way.<br>I learnt Japanese with Duolingo for about one year. A bit every day. <br>Learnt hiragana, katakana, basic Kanji and some grammar.<br>The next step should be going to a Japanese course to move towards N4 or N3, but it is difficult to find time for it between work and household chores. <br>So now I only watch Japanese videos to improve listening 😅<br>Anyway, thank you for the video and for sharing your tips 😊

  English is my second language. I live in the USA ,now. For me personally the best way to learn new words &nbsp;is to read a lot, I recommend to read your favorite books that you already have read in your native language. Listen a lot: podcasts, YouTube etc(it took me maybe 2 years to be able to watch anything without subtitles). Definitely I have to improve my speaking, I’m fluent but still even after all these years I make silly mistakes. &nbsp;If you have a chance, talk a lot with native speakers as well.
