  Being a fayth seems like an endlessly lonely existence. I hope the two &quot;rule breaking&quot; fayth, Yojimbo and the Magus Sisters, take comfort in being the only two that enjoy eternal companionship from someone they love. The sisters have each other, and Yojimbo has a snuggle puppy.

  I used to wonder what he bought with the millions of gil he earned from us and after 20 twenty years of scratching my I know what it is now. Its his blacksmith. Anyone who can craft a blade that can cut Penance in half is clearly talented. The upkeep must be a fortune

  It&apos;s kinda funny imagining a summoner needing to hire their guardian. Then him willingly giving giving his soul to them to defeat Sin. And also how easy that version of Sin was to defeat, since I imagine Yu Yevon doesn&apos;t have any gil...

  Yojimbo, the sell-sword Aeon. A person who was never dedicated to the pilgrimage or the religious facade. A summoner with need of protection &quot;I cannot end my pilgrimage here, I&apos;ll pay what ever you ask&quot;.... Just as the doctrine dedicates everything to overcoming Sin, the temples cannot have the story of a heathen viewed upon as a savior who cut down Sin itself. The church is the very thief that stole this marbled Fayth and removed him from the pilgrimage entirely, &quot; We cannot let them know the truth behind the pilgrimage.. we cannot let them know the truth about.. Sin&quot;.<br> &nbsp;&quot;Very well then if you accept my terms I shall guard you until your pilgrimage meets its end summoner... Do we have a deal?&quot;.<br>Thus an able bodied sell-sword guides a desperate Summoner to meet their very end. A Summoner willing to give up everything knowing that material value is no longer a concern just, The Calm. A man that was never dedicated to following the system the people were sold. Maesters corrupt with power nerves shaken that people may discover the truth, seek out to cast the shadow. The truth stolen.. The hero hidden.. The story lost. Only those who are devout to the Fayth can one day become them.. so the people still believed. The temples retain their power, for now.<br>&quot;Do we have a deal?&quot;<br><br>- Temples stole the Fayth so that people were kept under the impression that a guardian helped a summoner slay sin, not a lowly sell-sword. Many would begin to question a Fayth that demanded gil for their service. So under the guise of burglary the temples could keep selling their story. <br><br>Sorry for long post but can&apos;t help describing these things like your videos, they are inspiration. I need more so I can make a bedtime playlist of my favorite things in FF series. Like an addict I&apos;m hooked doll.   You put it so well, Yojimbo feels weird when you compare him to the other Aeons but when you take into account who he was before becoming a Fayth then he doesn’t feel weird at all

  My personal head-canon is that he was the hired guard of another guardian traveling with a summoner. After he failed to protect the guardian, he offered himself as Fayth to atone for his failure and to protect future guardians and summoners in ways he had failed yo do previously.
