What a beautiful day you had! We were there in July and also rented a car for the day. Definitely recommend it, especially if you have previously done the train. Our weather was our chilliest day, but still gorgeous.

Looks like you had fun in Skagway. I lived and worked in Skagway for 3 years in 2000. I miss the scenery but don't miss the winters and snow.

Great video... driving on your own is what we always do. That is one of my favorite drives. I just wanted to mention that it was a black bear that you saw and not a Grizzly...whoops !
