  Senior officer with Princess here.<br>I think this is a good assessment of the cruise lines including my own. I have worked for Princess except i was on loan to Cunard for 2 contracts. <br>I am biased of course but I think for the price point Princess offers &nbsp;a great value in the marketplace. <br>Variety is what makes cruising special. I always say there is no wrong cruise only the cruise thats &nbsp;right for you. Thats why Carnival Corporation owns 8 cruise lines.<br>I am especially proud to work for Princess because of its legacy and of course the TV show that really brought cruising to North America.<br>I was the senior assistant purser on the 50th anniversary cruise aboard the Pacific Princess that followed the same itinerary of the &nbsp;original cruise.<br>Onboard was the cast from the Tv show as well as Jeraldine &nbsp;Saunders who wrote Love Boats and was the first female cruise director as well as Jack Jones who sang the Love Boat theme song. <br>Best cruise and my favorite ship.

  For a couple in our 30’s we gravitate to Celebrity. Sleek modern ships, exceptional food, less children.

  We’ve sailed Carnival, Disney, Holland, and Virgin. Disney was awesome when our daughter was little, especially their kid’s clubs. Holland is great for a quieter laid back experience, they have the best entertainment of any line I’ve sailed, and the food is amazing, can’t get enough of those Dive In fries! I’d have to say though that Virgin is my hands down favorite! Food was delicious, entertainment was good, and the vibe was so different in the best way. Everyone was happy and having a great time without drunken brawls or kids running up and down the hallways and jamming up the hot tubs (drives me crazy too!). They also don’t make announcements past the first couple of hours on board, and they don’t nickel and dime you to death! Sailing with them again in October and can’t wait!

  Don’t forget the Medallion Experience for Princess Cruise line. &nbsp;Their technology onboard is terrific and a step up from other lines. &nbsp;This makes Princess a really great experience when you can order a beverage or snack to your current location; have a bartender know who you are when you approach the bar; &nbsp;open your cabin when you approach. &nbsp;We’ve sailed every Royal Class Princess ship and prefer their design and layout over the Sphere class ships. You should really try a Royal Class Princess ship next trip to Alaska. Thanks for sharing your experiences. &nbsp;Great video!

  My wife and I took our first cruise together, in May, on Holland America, to Alaska. Yes!! HAL and Princess are the ones with the most access to Glacier Bay, and the only lines with trains and Denali lodges, besides the really pricy lines, that have land packages. We&apos;re gping with HAL to Iceland, next year. Fantastic ships. Yes, somewhat older. I&apos;m 64, wife is 60. There were a handful of college-aged kids and young kids. While the ships are not geared toward kids, there is enough to do with the pool and the excursions.

  We weren&apos;t able to see any entertainment on MSC because you had to schedule everything ahead of time. On a cruise these things are spontaneous. If I wanted a rigid schedule, I would stay at work.

  Our first cruise was carnival, our honeymoon cruise..... it caught on fire.😅 we got taken back to Miami. The cruise line treated us very well. Side note, we didn&apos;t feel ok with getting on another ship at that time so flew to Vegas for the rest of our honeymoon. Still happily married &nbsp;28 years later! ❤️
