  Really interesting to hear Ronan describe Altman's manipulation tactics (saying what you want to hear, mirroring, etc), then almost immediately after, saying that he believed their conversation(s) were different and Altman was actually reflecting. He speaks of Altman referring to himself as a people pleaser, which Ronan relates to. Who's to say Altman was not mirroring Farrow there? Coming off as introspective, because he knows that's what Farrow wants to see. Amazing article and conversation here, just very interesting insight into how we're all capable of being manipulated.

  It seems like the whole ChatGPT product is based off of Altman’s personality: world’s best listener who tells you exactly what you want to hear with no remorse when it straight up lies to you.

  Farrow’s last words state he doesn’t believe Altman is a villain. Farrow then proceeded ti describe exactly a modern villain.

  I get the human interest aspect of seeing a person as a whole person, but this interview came off a bit like they themselves were beguiled by his manipulation tactics.

  I can’t believe I’m saying this but I think Ronan was captivated by him. &nbsp;I don’t think it went beyond that but there is clearly an element of deep empathy and perceived understanding. <br><br>I think it’s hard for some exceptionally smart people (which Ronan clearly is) to accept that other exceptionally smart people (which Sam clearly is) are simply sociopaths.

  Hearing Ronan, sound nearly infatuated with this dude, makes me think he got taken for a ride just like everyone else in Altman’s orbit
