  Just a note. No one ever won the Medal of Honor. You can earn it, you can receive it, but you can never win it like a prize. So many MoH recipients received the medal posthumously and died earning it.

  President Roosevelt's wife Eleanor is quoted  to say, "The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank GOD for the United States Marine Corps!" They had their 250 anniversary on November 10, 2025.

  Hey guys, as a Marine Corps Vet from Queens, NYC, when I learned of Dan Daly in Bootcamp in 01&apos; I couldn&apos;t help but want to be like that Marine! Many Marines take his story with them we deploy, in any capacity we serve, we want to be as courageous and hard charging as that &nbsp;Marine Dangerous Dan Daly! Peace and blessings.

  No medal of honor was ever &quot;won&quot;. Most every recipient &nbsp;would gladly give it back if nobody had to die.

  Something that people outside the United states dont realize that service in the USA is nearly a religion. People grow up hearing stories of service. Its an extremely big source of pride for many who have served. <br><br>Our military is all voluntary too. So if you dont want to be there, the military doesn&apos;t want you there. There is only enough room for people to want it enough to work insane hours for very little pay.
