  Hi Becky, you'll never see my comment but in hope you do, I wanted to share how amazing and beautiful a family you are. You personally have made such a difference to me. Ive had many years of debilitating depression, and depleting physical health. Watching you, I'm now attempting to cook meals for myself rather than eat the same microwave meal which I've done for months. Nothing complicated, just one pot meals that I can portion up and freeze for future meals. I love how you share flops, it makes me feel a bit better about my own flops. I am so happy that you and Josh are expecting another baby. I wish you all every joy in this new chapter of your lives x

  Just saying for me personally , I at one time owned a bakery. I preferred my pie crusts at room temp! Always was perfect. I think you are doing fantastic! You keep on going and do what you do, as I am old now, but you make me feel young watching your videos!

  My mom used to take the left over crust, rolled out and sprinkled sugar and cinnamon on it and baked. That was our treat.

  Maybe a stock your fridge/freezer vlog?  A day of prepping all the odds and ends that make day to day so much easier?  It'll be different for everyone, but it'd be motivating to see you stocking your fridge/freezer with the things you need for your family.

  Yes, always let your filling cool completely before filling the pie. Making it the day before is the best way.

  I’ve watched your channel for a number of years and have decided that I want to be you when I grow up (I’m 75!) I was gifted a Betty Crocker cookbook shortly after my wedding and have used their chicken pot pie ever since. Their recipe calls for frozen peas and carrots, but I use frozen mixed vegetables! I made it at my mom’s after thanksgiving because she asked if I knew of a new way to use leftover turkey. Funny story: My brother doesn’t like Lima beans, and my mom always picked them out of the mixed vegetables (if they were in the mixture)! She reminded me so I would take them out - I didn’t figured that he was in his early 20s and could pick them out all by himself! As we sat down to dinner, he asked if I took out the lima beans. With fingers crossed behind my back, I assured him that I did! He never did find out that I lied!

  A tip from a many-time user of the aluminum pans... put a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet under the aluminum pans. It will make them more stable, so they don't collapse. But, it makes the bottom thicker and you won't run the risk of the food scorching.
