  Happy 4th of July, peeps!!! &nbsp; As J said in the intro, yes, this was on the channel before, but this is a whole new edit that&apos;s about 20 minutes longer than the version we had to take down about a year ago. &nbsp;So even if you saw the older version, this is a version you&apos;ve never seen. &nbsp; <br><br>Everybody stay safe out there this weekend, enjoy the holiday, and thanks for celebrating 50 years of Jaws with us!!!

  Snuck-watched this 1980, 5 yrs old, sitting outside my parents’ bedroom as they watched it on ABC’s Sunday night movie of the week. After that, kid me didn’t want bedsheets over my legs, didn’t want to get in a tub, hella wasn’t getting in a swimming pool. To this day, I side-eye lakes &amp; oceans. F’d up. For Life.😄

  LOLOL<br>I&apos;m black and I spent my adolescence in the Caribbean, &nbsp;so I was ALWAYS in the water. Swimming out by the buoys. And obviously lived to tell the tale 😂 I love the sea/ocean, but I have a VERY serious respect for all the inhabitants. And given our history, &nbsp;you&apos;d think we ( black people) would learn to swim as soon as we learned to walk!

  When I was a kid we went on a two week vacation to Panama City Beach, Florida. The second day we were there it rained so my dad took us to the movies and we saw Jaws. You can imagine how the rest of our vacation went...

  &quot;...You&apos;re gonna need a bigger boat.&quot;<br>This line legit gives me chills, it&apos;s such an all-time quote of classic Hollywood cinema &nbsp;- classic not in the sense of age but in how we used to revere Hollywood and its movies. But the further we get away from release the less people are familiar with it; which isn&apos;t necessarily bad since people get to discover it completely fresh from pop culture references.
