"I love them to death. I love them to the end of time. I love them more than anything else in this world. But if I buried them and they come back the next day...shotgun to the face. I loved them, but I don't want no zombies." Dude, you brought me to tears with that one.🤣

As soon as he said, “I don’t think it’s going to be scary,” I knew we were in for a treat. Awesome reaction. This is indeed one of the scariest and darkest films of the 90s.

In the book, Gage's face is disfigured with one side sagging from being torn and stitched back up, plus the Windigo that powers the cematary talks and taunts Judd about his wife. Basically the book is even more messed up. Cool to see Gage eating his victims because the Windigo is a cannibal spirit among us Ojibwe.

 "Sometimes, dead is better."

Fun Fact: Stephen King was present on location for most of the shooting of the film. The area it was shot in was only twenty minutes away from his home in Bangor, Maine.

All Too Real Fact: Actor Brad Greenquist had said in an interview that while in his gruesome makeup for the role of Victor Pascow, no one would sit near him while the cast and crew were having lunch.

Casting Choice Fact: The role of Zelda, Rachel's terminally ill sister, was played by a man. Director Mary Lambert wanted something be "off about Zelda" and her scenes to frighten the audience but did not believe that a 13-year old girl was scary enough.

If I remember correctly in the book it’s either implied or outright said that Ellie has “the shining”

On a lighter note, I just noticed his dog go under the sheets in an attempt to block out his voice and sleep at 12:37 😂 made me laugh cuz it reminds me of my cat when he's done with my shit lol
