  i'm guessing the battlerating is that of when the spikes were still supposed to get MITL but they scrubbed that function but didn't change the battlerating

  They were supposed add MITL with this Update - they planned to but didn't which is why Vehicles Made for that Specific Feature are Dead on Arrival - Pretty sad

  Missed opportunity to give the martlets to the stormer HVM. I miss being able to engage vehicles in that thing.

  I feel like they balanced this thing with the anticipation that make the spike nlos actually function properly with its man in the loop stuff but since the gaijin balancing team is completely incompetent it now has to suffer

  One thing that irks me about this helo is Gaijin themselves described the Wildcat as a &apos;continuation&apos; or &apos;further development&apos; of the Lynx helicopter...but branch it off of the Apache? Why does the Wildcat not branch off the Lynx when it was quite literally a heavily evolved successor to the Lynx? It makes no sense. I mean, unless you <b>want</b> to extend the grind to the end of the tree for some reason by requiring the research of another helicopter before you can get this one.........but we all know Gaijin wouldn&apos;t do something so underhanded.........................................

  The Wildcat really needs to be like 11.7 - The weapons kit is unique and quite fun to use but the lack of DIRCM makes it miserable at 12.3<br><br>The Wildcat in real life is mostly made for anti-ship/submarine work, with the LMM martlets being used against small boats and drones. <br><br>One thing to note is that the Wildcat is confirmed to get the Sea Venom in an upcoming update (probably next update), as per the devs.<br><br>The Sea Venom is a missile with 30kg warhead, mach 0.85 top speed (~300 m/s) and &gt;20km range with IR MITL guidance. The Wildcat can carry 4 of these, which will probably be a lot better than the SPIKE NLOS, but you still only get 4.

  12.3 is just nuts and completely out of touch for this particular vehicle... If the FnF NLOS Spikes are the main reason for this helicopter to have such a terrible BR, I&apos;d even go as far as to argue to remove them from the selection completely and put the thing somewhere around 11.0 where it can utilize the Martlets somewhat reliably even though I&apos;d be very much questioning if the FnF feature and pointlessly enormous range are worth the higher BR when it comes to the missile speed being so damn low.<br> &nbsp;4x Spikes are just not worth it and the helicopter itself is just useless at this BR, like Justin said in the video, take the Rooivalk, 11.7 AH64 or even the Lynx or G-Lynx most ideally, if you have to have a helo in your UK high tier line ups. They all are gonna be 10x times better choices on 12.3 than this otherwise cool looking helicopter sadly. <br> Just another victim to high tech weaponary being available on in game low performance vehicle...

  Stormer with the Martlets would be SO fun. I already love hunting tanks with the derpy missiles from the ADATS, Gaijin please!!!

  The Wildcat is my favorite helicopter IRL and after researching all i could about it they got so much wrong, its such a shame they cucked the martlet. No proxy fuze, no ir seeker variant, really conservative pen estimate.<br><br>And the spike nlos should be so much faster but the devs decided to take the speed of a litteral drone variant of the nlos which was basically a whole new thing. There is no offically released info on the nlos&apos;s speed so they should have just left it as fast as the other spikes because its closer to that than a LITTERAL FUCKING DRONE!!! Also all the spikes dont have the correct top down trajectory after so fucking long. I cant even bug report the nlos&apos;s speed cuz there is no official figure, even if making it as fast as the other spikes makes soooooo much more sense.
