My one-way commute is 80 miles with 90 percent over interstate at 70+ MPH; hence, since my company pays for charging for free (10 stalls to use), getting my Model Y was a no-brainer. I bumped my battery warranty with an after-market add-on warranty, but that was only due to my not doing enough research on the rumors before purchasing. Thus far, with FSD every morning and free fill-ups, this mode of transportation is a dream! I just enjoy the scenery and listen to the radio for 3 hours a day, or chat with GROK about science and philosophy the whole way. :-) Last month I drove an extra 80 miles after work and had to get a supercharger "hit" for about 3 dollars/10 minutes to give me a buffer to get home.... Taken for all in all, I'm VERY pleased and will likely never be without at least one tesla in the driveway.

5:48 — Here in the Central-Texas vicinity at least, I’ve found that road tripping on Tesla Superchargers, per mile, costs about 2/3 of gasoline for a comparable pure-gasoline car, and home charging costs about 1/3 of Supercharging. (That comparison was before the Iran war raised gas prices.)

0:28 lol. I supercharged my car while sitting in it during a major rainstorm

There are plenty of people who don't see faster tire wear than normal ICE cars. A model Y is no heavier than a highlander and you control the torque with your foot. Chill mode helps too.

Autopilot and FSD Supervised are 2 separate systems. Don’t lump them together. I think of Autopilot as fancy adaptive cruise control. With FSD Supervised, I can get in my car in the garage, tell it to take me to the grocery store, and it will do so without any intervention from me. I consider that to be the car driving itself. Supervised means I am responsible for whatever the car does. I think Tesla should have named Autopilot “intelligent adaptive cruise control”.

I have 40k miles on my '19 Model 3 (work from home) and I'm still on the original set of tires.

I charge my Tesla at work because I can't get a home charger. This is still a bit cheaper then fossil fuel, but not significantly and in general you have to be careful not to overpay for public charging.

Good information. Because battery pack is so expensive an accident that damages it will almost certainly total the vehicle when market value gets below $20,000. Insurance cost is higher on Teslas because of this.

Are the cars that are charged to 100% every day part of that stat?

#2 myth, “you cannot charge a Tesla in the rain” 😂 Glad people in the Pacific Northwest don’t know this!

Some corrections to your corrections...
1) Fires : petrol burns at 2500C, diesel burns at 1500C, both these figures are above the structural failure rating of concrete and steel. International fire studies have found that although Lithium burns at 400C, the inside temperature of a battery fire is around 600C to 700C , below the structural failure temperature of concrete and steel. So, for a human, a battery fire is just as lethal and terrifying as a petrochemical fire, but it is not as hot. It additionally has the advantage that it does not move (it is a solid fire), whereas petrochemical are either liquid/gas fires which flow and spread around the ground. The huge disadvantage is that it does not require oxygen removing the standard way of putting out fires.
2) Grounding on EV chargers is based on a asymmetric ground leakage test far more protective than a simple RCCD (and equivalent US system). It needs to be as EV's are isolated from the ground by the tires until you touch it. You should avoid charging your EV in a thunderstorm as the ground voltage can be very large with high potential gradient due to induced charges, hence the complex fail safe ground testing.
