  966 - Poland became christian<br>1000 - Congress of Gniezno. First partially free elections brought the long-awaited &quot;FREEDOM&quot;.

  I&apos;ve seen reactions of multiple people to this film, and you&apos;re the only one who actually recognizes the cities! The events you can see by the &quot;years&quot; in left bottom corner of the movie, and someone already here commented with dates explanation. &nbsp;Still Chapeau bas for recognizing the cities from basically a cartoon :)

  i like your commentary. &nbsp;i recommend book Gods playground by Norman Davis. Fantastic book for somebody wants to learn about Poland, &nbsp;Polish power from Las Vegas

  The great majority in Poland support polish membership in the EU.<br><br>The video did not really skip WW1. It was the time when Poland did no exists on the map - WW1 brought us the first independece after 123 of Russian, Prussian and Austrian occupation. That is our independence day: 11 November 1918.

  Did you know we had a female KING? Seriously, King Jadwiga was a girl. Polish law at the time prohibited a queen from ruling the kingdom, so the nobility proclaimed her king until she married a Lithuanian prince. And she was not a pretty face and puppet oh no, once she grab an battle axe and tried to break doors to f with her imprisoned lover before marriage with other man &nbsp;but nobles beg her to stop and she agreed.
