  I went through an extremely similar childhood to Leonard and grew up to have the same ideas of love as him. It took going to college and getting my heart broken a few times to fix that and grow

  I think the Group represents very different psychological ideas. Howard being overly attached to his mother, Leonard having a terrible childhood and searching for love, Raj being the &quot;forever lonely&quot; person that is actually the most romantic but never given that, and Sheldon having what all other dreamed of love like a miracle.
