  the baratheons continuing through a legitimized bastards is also a fun mirror to their history with Orys Baratheon supposedly being being the bastard brother to Aegon the conquerer.

  When Ned and Robert go into the crypts, Robert complains about snow in summer. He also says he hates to think what winter is like. Ned replies "Winter will be hard, but the Starks will survive. We always have".  I think thats a wink to the readers.

  One of the biggest travesties of the show was the annihilation of House Tyrell. Really?? Every single other house survives…except the Tyrell’s?? And Bronn becomes Lord Paramount of the Reach?! Ridiculous

He&apos;s just the named character with the closest ties to the main branch of House Arryn. &nbsp;Petyr mentions that there are &quot;several branches of House Arryn scattered across the Vale, all as proud as they are penurious, save for the Gulltown &nbsp;Arryns, who had the rare good sense to marry merchants&quot;. &nbsp;Given the name drop of a specific Gulltown branch (and that that branch got a member of it mentioned in TWOIAF), I wouldn&apos;t be surprised if GRRM planned for them to show up at some point, especially to contest Harry&apos;s status as heir should Sweetrobin appear to be unlikely to live or be dying. &nbsp;And maybe GRRM will trim that plot back when TWOW gets published but still, we do have it in the text that Harry is not the sole blood relative of House Arryn about.<br>Edit: Petyr quote from Alayne II
