  It's interesting that the Hand of the King is allowed to sit on the Iron Throne while a regent is not, despite the fact that a regent is basically an acting king.

  Long live King Tommen I Baratheon, my beautiful baby boy (and number one cat dad) who nothing bad will ever happen to and is definitely not doomed by the narrative and prophesy simultaneously, for no one shall harm him while his regent Ser Pounce draws breath.

  I think Ser Pounce would be a great regent. He is personally devoted to Tommen, protects him from danger (in form of other cats), and i don&apos;t see him going corrupt or trying to usurp the throne. Plus, he is mentioned in the same chapter where the previous regent dies, which could be foreshadowing

  Genna Lannister becoming regent isn’t the most plausible, but it is by far the most interesting and entertaining, option. <br><br>I can’t say whether she’d be a capable administrator but I can say she’d be an absolutely dominant personality who, beside perhaps Jaime and Daven, is the only one who can restore prestige and respect to the Lannister name.

  What would be interesting is if they recalled Littlefinger to be Regent. And if you think about it, it wouldn&apos;t be out of the realm of possibility. He&apos;s &nbsp;a current dual Warden holder, a former member of the small council, he has solid relationships with the Tyrells, and Cersei would back him over anyone else other than herself. It would make for some interesting book direction too, because it&apos;s something Petyr likely couldn&apos;t resist, but would throw everything he&apos;s brewing in the Vale in to disarray.

  varys should have taken out Mace the Ace, if he becomes regent he&apos;s gonna singlehandedly beat Faegon, Euron, Daenaerys and probably the White Walkers too (I am unbiased and haven&apos;t received my payment for propaganda from Highgarden)
