  Pro tip: If you build in the plains you can raise the ground with a hoe to form indestructible stone wall around your base. This will prevent the strong enemys from and obliterating your build like butter. Just be wary of deathsquitos. This defense of course can work in any biome too

  I like my main base to be where multiple  biomes intersect. Preferably swamp/plains/black forest/ and one other if lucky. When you're in or around the base the monster will fight each other. Leaving resources to just pickup

  big massive base in meadows with everything i need then just have portal to every biomes in the world then make little houses, blacksmiths, farms, or storage place in those biomes then happy

  I&apos;ve been playing a shared game with some friends and we originally built a longhouse in the Meadows next to the starting stones then moved to a small Meadows island close to the middle of the map with a smaller Plains island close enough to bridge to it. It makes for a relaxed place for our main base with us being able to grow crops up to Plains in one spot while having a harbor, storage/crafting hut, barn, main building and portal hub in one area.

  This game is kind of insane. Goes from frolicking through the fields, to cabin in the woods, to starship troopers with no guns. Then they added doom without infused seraphim powers

  I love building in oceans because it has the lowest instances meaning you can build a bigger base!

  I managed to find a relatively small island with Mistlands, Plains, Black Forest and Mountain. Started building in the Plains.<br>It&apos;s also quite funny to see all kinds of creatures running into each other. :-)

  Low elevation mountain is probably my favorite. Very peaceful besides the occasional wolf or fenring. No wet debuff.<br><br>Downsides are you need to level the terrain yourself, and no easy access for boats. I like taming loxes and using them to move any ore up until the stone portal becomes available.
