  I love my Boulevard. I believe they're hugely underrated bikes in all sizes of both the C & M classes. My entry to cruisers was a '99 Intruder 1500 (essentially a C-90) because I refuse to pay the "Harley tax" that makes them crazy expensive compared to metric cruisers. Then I discovered the C-109R, and an upgrade to a 2010 that was the right price was just the next natural step. I'm near enough to 75k km on it with nothing more than good fuel, and regular servicing.

  My 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C90 with 19k miles just now needed a charging stator and regulator, along with new tires, tune up, battery and it still runs and rides great.... ride it daily in the summer.

  I had the 2007 Suzuki Boulevard VZ 800 and this was also extremely reliable and always just a pleasure to ride!

  I have friends with Harleys  who had to wait 6 weeks for parts! I have a 2013 Suzuki Boulevard bought new. With only routine maintenance runs like new.

  Just sold my Honda Shadow 750 after 16 years with 120,000 miles on the clock. It was serviced regularly more often than Honda recommends. Only required new tires and brake pads over this period of time. The bike still looks, feels and rides like a new machine. Sadly, when I sold it the price was lower because of the above average mileage on the clock. The new owner has kept in touch and loves the bike. It is probably the best bargain she will ever find.

  Got a 1985 Vmax. Bought new.. 136,000 trouble free miles. Never been into the engine. My 2002 Road Star just hit 101,000 miles, likewise it's stone reliable.

  I bought a Suzuki Intruder 1400 in Sweden 1992 when i was 20 years old just after my military service was done. I always planned to upgrade to Harley but never did and now that I know the engine so well I dont want anything else.

  I'm 66 and planning to buy myself a cruiser style for my first bike, although I have ridden in the past. Leaning towards the C50. Thoughts anyone?

  I have three Harleys A 2008 FLHTCUI A 1995 FXDWG And a 2005 Sportster. Saw an 84 Magna VF 700C on market place for $1.500 repaired the wiring harness and everything O.E. This bike still runs perfect 67,000 miles on it. had one 83 Magna years ago rode it many miles I use Amsoil 10-40 not built like the Harleys not as heavy for long trips but for the price very good bike. Ride it every day.

  i've got the volusia 800 as a first bike. it's tame but it's a good runner. don't need to run  200mph, it'll keep up on the interstate, fun around town. don't need much more.  it's got 37k on the clock, had been wrecked prior, it doesn't seem to care.
